Inaset
NEC INASET terminals deliver traditional
business functionality while providing new value not typically
offered by a voice communication device.
This technology-packed device is far more than a
phone-"it's a Smart Phone." Access all the data you need
to work with from one convenient place: NEC's INASET. Utilising
the feature buttons, jog key and dial pad on the INASET, users can
quickly input and access data on the color display. Other features
are:-
- Phone directory for storage of personnel and
corporate information
- Internet browsing capability for accessing
e-mail, web access and corporate web site.
- Caller indication display-the name, number
and other relevant date such as the caller's title and Company
for which they work.
- Maintenance screen for configuring the Smart
Phone.
- Help screen for information about buttons or
features that the user can utilise on the terminal.

Integrate Call Centre
The NEAX range with Open Application Interface (OAI)
could automatically direct incoming calls to a group of extensions
or Agents. When all in the group are busy, waiting callers hear a
series of messages or calls could overflow to alternative
destinations. A Management system can observe the status of all
calls and the efficiency of distribution. Peripheral application
processors allow LAN and Internet connectivity, screen pops, skill
based routing, automatic call bank, outbound call placement. The
system could generate 128 reports on status of calls and how it was
handled.
Hospitality Features
The 2000 IPS and 2400 IPX come standard with
optional Hospitality Software. This allows for basic operation by
Front Desk phones; to full integration of PMS system with guest
name, wakeup calls, maid status, check-in check-out service, room
cut-off, call restrictions, Personal Directory Assistance for Guest,
Concierge Support Service, "one touch" Call Centre Room
Service, Personal Handy phone System (PHS), Fax and Shot Messaging
System, Wireless LAN, High Speed Internet Access, Security Solution
etc.
